Do you need some staging tips?
Everyone has listings that you wish you could change a little, but the homeowner does not know anything about staging and refuses to invest in it.
These are easy, little things to improve your listings.
They will make a big difference.
Ask the homeowners if they could help to change a couple things around. Of course, explain why & what they can get from it. It is very important.
These are the most important things:
Clutter
Tell them to reduce the amount of books on shelves, family pictures, china, little chachkies, pictures on the wall and collections. To clear the floor of things, including the closet,
and to put things away that they don't use. They need to be packed soon anyway, why not now?
Organize
Nobody likes to buy a home that is not attractive.
Organizing is the easiest way to attract the buyers.
Smell
I love animals and have a cute Yorkshire Terrier named Romeo.
That being said, buyers do not want to experience a funky smell around the house, it will turn them off. It does not matter how much they love the house otherwise.
Tell homeowners to clean carpets if necessary. It does not have to be a professionally done. There are many different cleaning supplies that they can use at home.
They should buy air fresheners that can be plugged in.
It will help a lot. If they have litter boxes in the home, clean them often.
Do not leave animals at home for the open house. This is very important. Many people have allergies, so reduce the risk that they will bypass the house because they were sneezing a lot.
