Techcraft BAY4828B 48-Inch A/V Entertainment Center (Black)
"The Tech Craft BAY4828B - 48" Wide A/V Entertainment Center (black) was a perfect choice to support a black 42" LCD TV in the corner of our 24' x 16' family room. Its rich appearance and quality of construction make it a good deal for the price. Also, it's a rarity to have the option of both open and closed shelves in a TV stand. .
We keep a cable TV DVR and a DVD player on the convenient open shelf and Wii accessories and DVDs on the two shelves protected by the glass doors. (Our Wii sits hidden behind the TV on one side of the stand, which makes it convenient to charge and grab the controllers.)
Note that this stand affords a somewhat higher position than most for your TV, which is especially great for the Wii (It may also be advantageous for folks with toddlers and dogs, in lessening their access to the TV screen.). Its solid stance and ample depth reassures that flatscreen TVs will rest stably.
Assembly was straightforward for one person with a few simple tools. Some of the pieces are heavy, which is a testament to its quality. There was one minor flaw -- a top rear corner was bent slightly upward. Overall, we cannot be happier with our purchase." (R.Kovacs-Cleveland,OH)

"This piece of furniture is absolutely wonderful. The build quality is great, and it looks like something that you would spend 3x as much on. My wife, who is very discerning when it comes to furniture, responded with a "wow" when she saw it and a "WOW" when I told her the price.
The company does a nice job of using wood on everything that is seen and MDF on everything interior. I am sure this is what keeps the costs down. Assembly was not bad. It took about 2 hours, but I was also watching a basketball game.
I put it together by myself. Though the instructions don't have any words, they are fairly clear on how to put this piece together. Be warned, the box is huge and this thing is quite heavy. If I could give this item 6 stars I would." (WJG)
